Hello. I’m Steve Fadie, author of Words to the Rescue books. Thanks for stopping by.
As a writer, I enjoy helping individuals and businesses express themselves in simple, powerful and creative ways.
As long as I can remember, I’ve had an affinity for pencils, pens, paper, and anything to do with words. Office supply stores, bookstores and libraries are among my favorite places.
My fascination with words first lead to my 30-year career as an advertising copywriter. During that time I started a small greeting card company, then an e commerce business.
In 2007, I was laid off my senior copywriting job at one of the nation’s largest ad agencies. That same week a semi-truck pulled up to my driveway with the first 3000 copies of Words to the Rescue books, fresh off the press . . . and Orange Sky Books was born.
To date, Words to the Rescue books have sold over 140,000 copies. The company's goal is helping 1 million readers express themselves more effectively in writing.
