Steve Fadie is the author of Words to the Rescue books, and the owner of Orange Sky Books..

A former senior copywriter at one of the nation's top advertising agencies, he is an expert at using minimum words to achieve maximum impact. He helps individuals and companies express themselves in simple, powerful and creative ways.

 

In November 2007, he was laid off his copywriting job. That same week a delivery truck pulled up to his driveway with the first 3000 copies of Words to the Rescue fresh off the press. And Orange Sky Books was born. In 2011, Words to the Rescue 2 was released. 

Steve is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he majored in advertising, and earned a bachelor's degree in communications. As a member of Toastmasters International, he evaluated over 3000 speeches, won awards for spontaneous speaking and speech evaluation and mentored a new club.

 

He resides in Commerce Township Michigan, one hour northwest of Detroit --

surrounded by lakes and pine trees -- with his feline friends Sky and Athena and Pomeranian pal, Miko.
